Starting the Manta ray season in Raja Ampat with beautiful interactions!!!

What makes Raja Ampat particularly special for manta ray encounters is the reliability of sightings and the relatively shallow depths at which they can be observed. Divers and snorkelers can often watch mantas gliding gracefully overhead or hovering at cleaning stations.

The area has become crucial for manta ray conservation, as Indonesia established the Raja Ampat Marine Protected Area, which helps safeguard these gentle giants that can reach wingspans of up to 5.5 meters (18 feet).
