Starting October 1 the Point bayside will be open, enabling visitors to walk the beach around the Point. Remember, pets are prohibited from the bay beach year round.

DNREC has issued a swimming advisory for Rehoboth and other Delaware coastal beaches in response to instances of medical waste washing ashore. The advisory is for a one-week period.

Beach access in Rehoboth Beach will remain open. Swimming and wading in the ocean are not advised. Visitors are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes on the beach.
