Hawaii Safe Travels Program is set to end on March 26th!

As of the 26th, visitors to Hawaii do not need to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test to vacation in the islands.

It’s March! At EPCOT that means it’s the beginning of the International Flower and Garden Festival!

In addition to the gorgeous and whimsical topiaries spread throughout the park, guests will love the Garden Rocks Concert series and the delicious outdoor kitchens.

The France Pavilion has a beautiful bouquet garden and guests certainly won’t want to miss Bambi’s Butterfly House.

This is one of the most beautiful times of the year to visit EPCOT!

Well, the nighttime entertainment at least. Beginning April 22,2022 (my son’s 20th birthday).

The Main Street Electrical Parade is my all-time favorite parade!

The Big Island of Hawaii has a different feel than the other islands.

It feels a little more laid back and less touristy.

The landscape is incredibly lush and green in some areas and stark in other areas covered with hardened lava.

As you drive around the island there are so many beautiful ocean views as many of the roads are up on the mountainside.

Say Hello to Mickey and Friends on the Disney Wonder sailing from San Diego this fall!!

Beginning Fall 2022, the Disney Wonder will be sailing 3-, 4-, 5-, and 7-night cruises from San Diego to explore Baja, and the Mexican Riviera until Spring of 2023 (the longest season out of San Diego yet).

The EPCOT ball at night is a sight to behold!

Gorgeous colors light up the night and can be seen across the park. Periodically, the lights move and dance across the ball and if you are nearby, the music makes it even more magical.

We recently flew all the way across the country to Orlando. Normally for this flight we would leave around Midnight or 1 AM and fly 3 hours to Seattle. We would arrive in Seattle before the sun rises and drag ourselves and our kids (who were too excited to sleep on the plane) through the airport looking for food. After a grueling couple hour layover we would fly all day with over-exhausted kids to Orlando.

But, I now have been on the best cross country flight EVER!

We left in the middle of the afternoon! Yes, Alaskans, pick up your chin. We left for Seattle at 3:30 PM and arrived after a lovely 3 hour flight where our rested kids happily entertained themselves (well, we were not too tired to continually provide things to do). After easily finding food we boarded our flight to Orlando around 11PM. Now, get this! Since the kids had already got out their airplane excitement on the first flight and it was a normal sleeping time, they were able to sleep the whole 5 hour flight to Orlando. Yes, 5 hours of sweet, blissful sleep—no crying, whining, fighting, or pleading with them to sleep.

Yes, it was as good as flying for 8 hours could be!

So now that you know the flying to Florida doesn’t have to be that bad it might be time to book that Disney or Universal family vacation. Message me to get started.

Magic Kingdom is not for the faint of heart. 😁

It takes planning to maximize your day (which I didn’t really do this time).

I am going to try out the new Disney Genie+ and see if it keeps me from waiting in line too much.

One of the great things about Legoland Orlando is the small play areas.

Spread throughout the park are toddler areas for little ones to wait for their older siblings to ride their rides. There are even a few indoors get out of the hot sun.

Then there are a few for all ages to burn off some steam.

Legoland is the perfect alternative to Disney!

The Lego creativity is astounding! Mini Land ingenuity could entertain you for hours.

It’s fun for kids of all ages but geared for 3-12 year olds.
