CABO PULMO HAS CELL SERVICE!

Telcel built a cellular tower on the tall mountain behind Cabo Pulmo village., So we now have reliable cell service in Cabo Pulmo. We recommend that you contact your USA cellular provider and add their Mexico service to your calling plan. Then you'll be able to use your cell phone in Mexico. Once your phone set for Global or GSM most smart phones will interface with Telcel so you can have in-and-out calling, pick-up and send email and access the internet through Telcel on your smart phone. We still provide free satellite internet through Hughes but because it's a satellite based internet it is very slow and we now prefer to use Telcel.

Hi Betsy,

First of all I wanted to thank you for all your support and for your help.
We had a wonderful time, we really enjoyed your wonderful place and made the best out of our trip, despite the weather conditions on the first days.

We went hiking, to sol de mayo, los frailes, jogging, cooking, etc... And by Thursday we finally made it and went diving. It was all awesome!!!

It was really nice of you to give us that extra night, we really appreciate it, and hopefully we will be able to return the favor one day. We will definitely go back to CP, and stay and Casa del mar, or... Villa which is also a beautiful property.

We left you a very small gift at the house, unfortunately we couldn't find a nicer vase, but we hope that you like it and that will give a nice touch to the table outside. We also contributed to the toy house for your further guests ;)

Again, gracias!!!

We really look forward to seeing CP again this year.

After 4 days of a foggy inversion, I am definitely ready for the 77 degrees and sunny weather Cabo Pulmo is currently having. What winter weather are you experiencing this year that has you yearning for a stay in paradise???

Here is some important info for large groups heading down to Cabo Pulmo!!!

Most BAJA PARADISE guests rent a car at the airport. If you don't want to rent a car, there is a van service our of La Ribera operated by Julio Cesar (who speaks English!). He charges $440 per trip so if you have lots of people in your group it could be a cost-effective way to get to Cabo Pulmo from the airport. He'll pick you up, stop at the market so you can groceery shop, then deliver you to Cabo Pulmo. For your return trip to the airport, he'll pick you up in Cabo Pulmo at your pre-arranged time. The 8 days we stayed at your Villa Del Mar in December were 8 of the best days of our lives! So wonderful to be there on the ocean. The two weeks at Pulmo right up there with the best couple of trips of our lives. A total home run.

BAJA MIDNIGHT!!!!

As the sun sets on 2014, here are some words of advice for those of us who want to get up and enjoy paradise on New Years day!!

As many of you may already know, Cabo Pulmo is known for its amazing ocean activities like scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, swimming and such rather than its nightlife. Staying up until midnight is really hard to do if you want to be up at dawn to go fishing. So BAJA PARADISE’S New Year’s Eve Party features a large clock. Every fifteen minutes, time is turned back an hour. When the clock get to midnight, we celebrate the New Year! And get to bed by 9:00 PM!!

News from Cabo Pulmo after Hurricane Odile

We are very happy to report that Cabo Pulmo weathered Hurricane Odile very well, with very little damage. Winds were about 75-mph, with a few stronger gusts. We received little rain and storm surge. We have wind-lashed landscaping to clean up but BAJA PARADISE villas are undamaged, Cabo Pulmo is in good shape, and we are open for business. Guests who rode out Odile in EL NIDO even went fishing on the 18th, 4-days post-Odile! Unfortunately, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo were badly damaged by Odile and our prayers are with those affected. As Cabo Pulmo’s good news is spreading, we are being swamped with reservation requests from visitors hoping to switch their now-canceled, future Los Cabos reservations to Cabo Pulmo. We hope that you will consider including a visit to beautiful Cabo Pulmo and BAJA PARADISE in your future beach vacation plans. Cabo Pulmo and BAJA PARADISE are open and ready for guests once the airport is open for incoming flights.
