LightPath is an aurora information application developed for travellers.It provides information about aurora activity, cloud cover and general information about northern lights. The main focus is on the travellers in Iceland, but it will be accessible and usable everywhere in the world. Through the map view it is possible to choose any spot on earth and receive information about aurora visibility

right there in addition to a three day forecast.

LightPath er upplýsingasmáforrit sem hannað er fyrir norðurljósaáhugamenn og veitir þeim almennar upplýsingar um norðurljós, norðurljósavirkni og skýjafar. Þó svo að aðallega sé einblínt á Ísland þá verður smáforritið aðgengilegt og nothæft í öllum heiminum. Heimskort er aðgengilegt og hægt að sjá norðurljósavirkni allsstaðar í heiminum, annaðhvort með því að leita eftir staðarheiti eða einfaldlega með því að ýta á þann punkt sem notandinn hefur áhuga á.
