26 members of the organization Christians for Israel completed their six-day tour in the country with a festive visit to President Yitzhak Herzog. The group members, who regularly come for tours in Israel, visited numerous community projects across the country, including the main building of the Shalva Association in Jerusalem. They also met with the mayor of Jerusalem Moshe Lion, visited an army base where they train and support lone soldiers, and planted a tree in Givat Hamoreh. Just before their departure back to their homeland, it was an honor for them, and for us, to be present at a meeting with President Herzog at his official residence.

We had the privilege to host last week the Christians For Israel Group from the Netherlands. The group with 33 guests toured places in the south of Israel for seven days, picking tens of thousands of kilograms of oranges and clementines. The group also visited the Noveh site in Reim, Kibbutz Kfar Aza, and an IDF base where they packed 60,000 combat dishes for soldiers in the field. This is the first group in this winter to visit Israel on behalf of the organization, with additional groups expected to arrive in the coming weeks.

Welcome to the Caesarea National Park, offering visitors several impressive attractions and historical sites such as the Roman theater complex, which includes the Herodian palace, the experience of Caesarea, and an archaeological finds garden. Adjacent to it is the Hippodrome compound displaying reconstructed horse stalls, an ancient service building, a bathhouse, and a seaside promenade.

A visit to Caesarea wouldn't be complete without touring the Old City and harbor area, passing through historical trails via the walls promenade, the Crusader Gate, and the visitor center. Those interested can also participate in night-time flashlight tours.

All of these and more await you here in Israel, and we all hope and eagerly await hosting you soon, with the love and dedication that we provide to our traveling audience.

The Bahá'í Gardens in Acre and Haifa constitute spiritual focal points for pilgrims who come from all corners of the world to visit and pray in these sacred places. These sites are a gift to humanity and are open to people of all genders. In July 2008, the Bahá'í Gardens in Haifa and Acre were registered on UNESCO's World Heritage List due to their "outstanding universal value" as holy sites and places of pilgrimage for Bahá'í believers.

The Bahá'í faith is based on the teachings of two Bahá'í prophets who lived in the nineteenth century. The first was the Báb, buried on Mount Carmel, known as the "Prophet-Herald" because he foresaw the coming of Bahá'u'lláh, the "Prophet-Founder," buried in Acre.

The gardens were established to provide a dignified environment and proper access to the structures where the founders of the Bahá'í faith are interred. They create a unique and peaceful atmosphere, allowing Bahá'í pilgrims to prepare for entering these sacred places.

In the gardens, approximately 450 different types of plants, most of which are characteristic of the region, can be found. These plants were chosen based on their colors, heights, durability, and ability to survive with minimal irrigation.

The length of the gardens is about a kilometer along the northern slope of Mount Carmel, and their width is about 400 meters at their widest point. The difference in height between the lowest and highest terrace is 225 meters.

We hope to guide you once again soon through the history and significance of The Bahá'í Gardens.

At the feet of Ben Gurion's Midreshet in the Negev, beneath a part of the Tzin Stream in a deep and magnificent canyon, lies a magical desert oasis. This is the realm of Ein Avdat – the Kingdom of Ibexes and Eagles.

The Ein Avdat National Park stretches along the Tzin Stream Canyon, at the northwest edge of the Tzin Cliffs, rising over 100 meters from the Avdat Plateau to the Tzin Valley. The park covers an area of approximately 4,800 dunams.

Declared a national park in 1972, its recognition was due to its size and its central location in the heart of the Negev desert. It is considered a significant habitat for desert wildlife, especially Ibexes, and its cliffs are the most important nesting site for eagles in the Negev Mountains. Besides the diverse wildlife, the area features impressive cliffs and archaeological remnants from the settlement of monks.

In the canyon's cliffs, one can discern the entrances to caves. During the Byzantine period, these caves served as dwellings for monks. During this time, the nearby city of Avdat was an important Christian center, and it is likely that the proximity to the city and the abundance of water in the area facilitated extensive religious activities. Some monks lived here in seclusion, while others prayed and meditated during the week, coming together for communal meals and religious ceremonies at its conclusion.

We hope to guide you once again soon through the history and significance of Ein Avdat.

On a solitary cliff in the heart of the desert, overlooking the Dead Sea and the wild landscapes of Judean Desert, stands a magnificent fortress from ancient times. During the days of the Great Revolt, it was the last stronghold of the Jewish rebels against the Romans, and it became a symbol of their desperate struggle for freedom.

The Masada National Park was declared in 1966 for several reasons: it was the last site where the Jewish rebels fortified themselves against the Romans and did not surrender their freedom even at the cost of their lives; the preservation of the palace-fortress built by Herod in the arid region; its rare architectural beauty on a global scale; and its location as a stunning viewpoint in the remote wilderness of the Judean Desert.

The fascinating historical events that took place on the mountain and its archaeological findings influenced its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.

The tragic events of the last days of the rebels who took refuge on Masada have turned it into a symbol of Jewish cultural identity and, more universally, a symbol of the eternal human struggle between oppression and freedom.

At the foot of the mountain, the Ben Yair Creek emerges from the west, and the Masada Creek flows from the south and east. The flat peak of the mountain, about 650 meters long, has a maximum width of about 300 meters and a height of approximately 450 meters above the surface of the Dead Sea. To the east of Masada, the Havara Plateau stretches out, deeply incised by numerous wadis, a product of the prehistoric sea's erosion.

Masada is close to two ancient roads: one that crossed the center of the Judean Desert and led to southern Moab, east of the Jordan River, and another that connected Edom, Moab, and the Aravah to Ein Gedi and Jerusalem.
=============================
We hope to guide you once again soon through the history and significance of Masada, highlighting the enduring symbol of the human struggle for freedom that still accompanies us today.

A mosaic from approximately 1,600 years ago has been uncovered in excavations at an ancient synagogue in the area of the Sea of Galilee. The mosaic was discovered by a team of archaeologists led by Professor Jodi Magness from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in the archaeology of Israel and Jordan, with expertise in the Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic periods.

The newly uncovered mosaic consists of a large panel with a central Hebrew inscription surrounded by floral decorations. On the sides and beneath the flowers, there is an Aramaic inscription detailing the names of the donors who contributed funds for the construction of the ancient synagogue mosaic or those who created it, ensuring that their names are remembered for posterity.

In excavations conducted this summer, additional sections of mosaics were also uncovered, which were previously discovered in 2012 and 2013. These sections depict the biblical figure of Samson, as well as two pairs of foxes with their tails tied to torches (corresponding to the description in the Book of Judges, Chapter 15). Additionally, the mosaic depicts the figure considered to be the 12th and final judge mentioned in the Book of Judges, who, while carrying the gates of Gaza, uproots and carries them on his shoulders to the top of a hill (as described in the Book of Judges, Chapter 16).

Tourists from China are returning to Israel, and we at Diesenhaus Unitours have already hosted several groups during the month of September. Like the group in the photo, which included hospital managers and senior department heads who visited Asuta Hospital. We are expecting to warmly welcome additional groups that will arrive through us in Israel in the coming months and also in 2024.

The government in Beijing has approved adding Israel to the list of countries approved for group tourism after an extended period during which Chinese tourists who wanted to visit here had to do so individually.

The potential for tourism from China is enormous, as in 2019 alone, about 155 million Chinese tourists traveled the world. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism focused significant efforts on the Chinese market and invested tens of millions of shekels each year. 2019 was a record year with over 150,000 entries of Chinese tourists to Israel, with over 60 percent of them entering as part of a group. However, the outbreak of the coronavirus halted the renewed influx of tourists from China.

The new Raphael House Hotel - the first hotel in Rishon LeZion - invites you to enjoy a boutique urban vacation full of style in the most desirable location in the city, on Rothschild Boulevard, bustling with entertainment venues and attractive attractions. Raphael House is making history

It is the first hotel in Rishon that has put the coastal city on the tourism map. You are welcome to enter the beautiful lobby, savor a refreshing cup of coffee, and then be escorted by the hotel staff to your reserved room.

Raphael House Hotel is located in a beautiful architectural building that was built in 1890 by Baron Rothschild. Initially, the building served as a residence for the employees of the vineyard, and in the early 20th century, it housed the local council of Rishon LeZion and the agricultural committee. Later, the building served as the city hall of Rishon LeZion until 2005. After it was declared a preservation building, it underwent impressive restoration work that seamlessly blends with the historic houses nearby from the early settlement period.
