The City of Penticton - Municipality has made it easier for visitors to get to the festival, with extended bus services and Park ‘n’ Ride locations!
The BC Transit #5 bus will arrive every 30 minutes throughout the day (until 6:40 pm) from August 9-12, and every hour on Sunday, August 13. Riders are invited to park along the #5 bus route, including Cherry Lane Shopping Centre or Penticton Seniors’ Drop-in Centre (2965 South Main Street), and ride the bus the rest of the way in.
The Peach Festival is one of the largest free family festivals in Canada, dating back to 1947. The five day festival highlights include Shooting Star Amusements, Peach Bin races, kids zone, sport and dance competitions and shows, live concerts, Mega Motocross, the Peters Brothers Grand Parade, Canadian Armed Forces SkyHawks Canada Parachute Team, and much more!

Okanagan Falls is a community found at the south end of Skaha Lake, where its old name of Dog Lake was derived (Skaha translates to dog in the native language), in British Columbia. For obvious reasons, its new name came from a small set of falls that used to lie on the Okanagan River.
With very agreeable weather, the region has always depended on tourism for its main source of income. Famed for its hot and dry summers, Okanagan Falls is a favorite destination for outdoor enthusiasts and sun seekers, having tourists flock both from nearby regions of Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary, as well as from overseas, to enjoy a wide array of activities the area has to offer, including fishing, climbing, various water sports like boating and windsurfing, as well as hiking and mountain climbing.
