Osage Prairie Trail at the Skiatook OK trail head today. 14.5 miles on a converted railroad bed. Great local food and coffee shops walking or riding distance. Trail head is located at Skiatook Central Park.

Discovered this gem today. The Bartlesville Trails at Lake Hudson. Not to be confused by the other Lake Hudson on the Grand River, this a beautiful 250 acre lake with a great trail system NW of Bartlesville. 10 miles of trail, 321ft of elevation change.

It’s an Oklahoma classic. A summer float down the Illinois river. Lots of great outfitters in the Tahlequah OK area. If you can go during the week sometime chances are you’ll feel like you own the river. Much less crowded.

Camping and hiking this weekend in Arkansas. The remote White Rock Mountain in the White Rock Mountain Recreational Area. It quite a drive to the top but worth it. The Ozark Highlands Trail runs through the camping area.

Pathfinder Parkway. Explored this 12 mile trail system in Bartlesville this morning from the Shawnee Trail Head. Most of it is paved. Walking, running and biking trail. The Caney River and Turkey Creek run along side the trails. Great local place to get in the woods, get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors.

The Colorado River starting its journey high up in the Rockies in Grand Lake,CO. So amazing where all this river goes and what it accomplishes from here. Family Airbnb cabin this week is just across the road.

Beautiful Centennial Park. Owasso, Ok. Great walking/running area. As a new resident of Owasso, I discovered this beautiful park including a family of llamas next-door to the park along with ducks, geese and cranes.
