If you are not one who choses to follow the herd when it comes to touring on your vacation Carlos is the man for you. He can make a tour up for you or take you to what you want to see or do. Living for decades in Puerto Vallarta he has an excellent knowledge of the area. He is a family man who also works as a Green Angel for the government and is a trained first responder. His taxi license allows

him access to anywhere in Jalisco state but can drop you off out of state if your destination is not in Jalisco. His English is excellent and does not take you where he gets kickbacks but to what you tell him you want to see or do. Cruising with Carlos will be one of the highlights of your vacation !

Buying a package vacation to PV can be great. But most times you will experienced the the wait in the airport to load on to your provided transportation. You wait for everybody trapped by time share and tour sales people , stop at different hotels to let people off and than stand in line with all the people who do get off your bus to check in. Avoid this with a call to Carlos before your flight and meet him just over the walkway by the airport. You will be checked in, unpacked and sitting by the pool by the time the bus even leaves the airport. Remember to check in with your tour rep at the hotel sometime through the week to get your voucher for the ride back to the airport because lets face it its over who cares about the wait then. If you have rented a condo his van will hold you or your group plus he can stop for supplies at the local Costco and or grocery store and take you to anywhere in Jalisco or surrounding states. Call the number on the page to reach him his English is excellent.

This is a great destination. The drive is 1.5 or so hours through the countryside and up into the mountains. Passing small towns, restaurants/cantina's and he knows all the clean restrooms for the ladies. We tend to be very thirsty when we cruise with Carlos !

Our Story If you are not one to follow the crowd or get stuck in a bus with strangers, a scripted guide taking you to the places they want you to stop Carlos is for you. He is a family man who has been in PV for decades and has an excellent knowledge of the state of Jalisco. He has a clean reliable large air conditioned van that has a large seating capacity and a government issued license to operate as a taxi. He has been operating a taxi for 25 plus years along with being a government employee Green Angel. He has paramedic training also in case of emergency. His command of the English language is excellent and can take you on your adventure once you let him know what it is you would like to see or do. Carlos can also set you up with any of the many activities that are offered in Jalisco if you wish to make that part of your day or half day. You can pay by the hour or negotiate a flat rate for the time and distance you wish to travel. Your day with Carlos will be the highlight of your trip as you look back at the photos and memories of your special day. If its sleepy towns and hidden restaurants only the locals know about that perks your interest he knows them. If its shopping you are interested in he can take you to where he knows you will get the best quality and price without being driven by a kickback. Let him know and he will also bring a cooler along that you can load with your favourite beverages for the drive/cruise. If its family time or party time its a good time with Carlos !
