Keki is home to this special bird - the Fire-maned Bowerbird, Sericulus bakeri. This beautiful bird is limited in range and only found in the lower montane forest of the Adelbert Mountains. Keki is the only known location where you can see the Fire-maned Bowerbird in its natural habitat. It regularly visits fruiting trees on the grounds of Keki Lodge.
