Sailing and Paragliding expeditions

Dear all. Witek is our great friend, SAP crew member a one of a kind character and fantastic person. Since last saturday he's gone missing during srs paragliding comps in Colombia. He did made a phone contact on sunday confirming that he landed ok and trying to walk out. He hasnt been heard of sinse. There is a big rescue mission going on but the organizers need our support. Pleasse help by donating on gofundme and keep your fingers crossed. I truely hope its just going to be another unbelivable story in the end.

Ok, Its been a while since the SAP ended, too many beutifull pictures too much action to update it on social medias, but there goes few of them. The 2023 took us through the Aegan and Ionian seas, through Crete, around Peloponese.
I do feel that it has become a lifetime experience for most of us, as it usualy has been on previous expeditions. I know those are cliches but it really is about people, friendship and adventure. Back to the paragliding roots, when it wasnt all about numbers, rather laughing loud, doing crazy things in the most unexpected terrain.
Thanks to everyone for creating this unique adventure.

As for this year expedition we still have a couple of berths left for the second leg - Pita Gyros Xc - from Crete to Lefkada (22.10-04.11)

As kid I was growing watching Jacques Yves Cousteau adventures, so when a childhood dream looks like may come true, I joined to first SAP expedition! Got more that my dream, like, very good friends !

That is a diferent view of Santorini... It's not as perfect as they usualy show it but the truth is also far from perfection - overloaded with tourists, exhausted donkeys trasporting lazy tourists with selfie sticks.. Getting there on the boat back in 2012 was a diferent storry - rowing on our made in china plastic inflatable between huge cruisers, than rushing through the crowd, looking for a sketchy take off behind a super market and off to a better dimension. Flying over Santorini indeed was something the pictures from gopro 2 wont make a justice, but those faces after landing, waiting to be picked up by the dinghy say it all.
During the "Moussaka Freeride' (08-20.10 Kos-Crete) we will try to repeat this epic adventure. There is still one double cabin left for this leg, are You in?

BIM! The SAP is back! Back to Greece this year, one of our favourite playgrounds. Few places that we´ve allready been to and many more to explore. With more experience, I think we know how to squeeze more juice from this area. Adventure guaranteed - unflown islands, tricky landings, wagas, hiking, remote anchorages, night sailing, wet stabilos, donkeys, dolphins its all included.
The route divided into two legs will take us all the way Through the Aegean sea to Crete and around Peloponesse to the island of Ionian sea.
Our home for this adventure will be a comfy Lagoon 380 catamaran.

The dates:
-08.10-20.10 "Moussaka Freeride" Kos- Crete
-22.10-04.11 "Pita Gyros XC" Crete - Lefkada

"Moussaka Freeride"
This one is really going to be a freeride across the cyclades. There is a route but honestly we aill adopt it to the weather forecast. There are few hotspots that we gone be hunting for - Amorgos and Karpathos are long mountanious islands, with constant convergence line along their spine and many take off options. Santorini is a once in a lifetime classic and if there´s gone be a weather window with W, we shall be there as well. We might also check out Ikaria. What is sure is that we will start in Kos and finish in Crete with its official xc and coastal sites.

"Pita Gyros XC" - This leg will conect 3 totally diferent zones. Starting in Crete, hopefully flying amazing sites on the way like Balos beach. Crossing to the Pelopones and exploring all the possible islands on the way. Southern Pelopones has some scenic mountains with top xc possibilities. We will make sure to be at the right place at the right time. From there crossing to Ionian islands (Kefalonia, Lefkada) with top coastal flying and the most beutifull water colour in entire med. A stopover for a drink in Zakinthos´shipwreck beach for sure
