It is heartbreaking to see the devastation, and imagine the agony and utter distress people in countries caught up in war must endure. Please join me in praying for peace and relief for the people in every war torn nation. Bullets and bloodshed may bring about a temporary silence but they will never bring about peace. Violence begets more violence.

People are living with the consequences of war or the threat of war, around the world. It is impossible to kill enough people to bring about a lasting peace. The lust for blood and vengeance will lead to more lust for blood and vengeance. It is not a zero sum game. This holiday season, my fervent prayer is that all people can live in peace.
