☀️☀️Risk fades of far right government in France.
Next Sunday's second round in the French general elections is unlikely to see victory for the far right National Rally (RN). While the RN is liable to pick up more seats than any other party, it will probably fall short, even well short, of the absolute majority needed to form a government.
The French stock market, a normally reliable indication of expectations, rose 2% on Monday morning following calls from across the rest of the political spectrum for candidates to unite in the second round to beat the National Rally.
In the first round of voting, 66% of French voters voted against the far right, in a poll that saw the highest turnout of the century.
