Resort spotlight! Check out Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter! This moderate resort is so quaint and makes you feel like you are in New Orleans. The pool and slide are family favorites and the splash pad is great for smaller kiddos. And you can get Mickey shaped beignets here. What could be better?? These rooms are undergoing refurbishment and look absolutely stunning!

Today was lightning lane day for the “L” family! They are surprising their kids on Christmas morning with a trip to Walt Disney World THAT DAY! The kids will be so shocked!

DreamWorks Land is perfect for younger guests who want to take a ride on the Trollercoaster, explore Shrek’s Swamp or meet some of their favorite DreamWorks characters. Resort spotlight! Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of my favorite resorts on property. This stunning resort is a tower which makes it easy to get around. It also has one of my favorite quick service restaurants, Primo Piatto and a pool bar with great food, Bar Riva. Not to mention it’s on the skyliner, which gives you quick access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot! This is where I’m staying in our next trip and I’m so excited.

Tip Tuesday! Did you know that guests at Universal Orlando HAVE to have a park to park ticket in order to ride the Hogwarts Express. The train picks you up at Kings Cross (Universal Studios side) or Hogsmeade (Island of Adventure side) and then takes you to the other park. If time allows, I always recommend taking it from both stations because it’s 2 different experiences. But, if I have to pick one, get picked up at Kings Cross and experience the magic of getting on to Platform 9 3/4.

Universal Studios has so much to offer and even more fun in coming in May 2025 when Epic Universe opens. For a small deposit, you can lock in your Universal vacation package.
