Heads up! Typhoon Lagoon will be reopening May 1st and Blizzard Beach will close for refurbishment. During the month of April, Disney will celebrate Blizzard Beach’s 30th anniversary with some fun activities!

Resort spotlight! Art of Animation is by far the most popular value resort I book for families. This resort has standard rooms in The Little Mermaid section that sleep 4 and also family suites that can sleep 6. The family suites have a kitchenette, 2 bathrooms and a family room and allows your family to spread out a bit. Art of Animation also shares a Skyliner station with Pop Century, which means you can get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot fairly easily. Not to mention 3 pools themed to Cars, Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid! It’s not hard to understand why so many people love this resort.

We are staying here in a Cars suite in May and I’m super excited! Packages are available through the end of 2025, so if you’re thinking about a Walt Disney World vacation, message me and let’s get planning! A $200 deposit gets your package booked and then you can make payments as you go 🤩

The menus for the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival were released yesterday! This festival starts March 5 and runs through early June. The menus will feature a lot of citrus inspired flavors and so much more.

Personally, I’m glad I have 2 trips during this festival to try and taste everything I want on the menus 😆

Tip Tuesday! Today is the day! No more virtual queues for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Neither of these attractions have had a standby line and the only way to ride it was by getting in line in the virtual queue (which filled up in SECONDS) or purchasing the lightning lane.

So. What does this mean for park touring? Epcot announced Guardians will be included as one of the attractions open for early entry. Guests at select resorts can get in 30 minutes early, meaning they can get in line before regular admission guests. Tiana’s will open at the posted park opening time for now.

Are you excited about this change? Not having to join a virtual queue and HOPE that you get a spot is a great change and will take some complications away. But. How long will the standby lines be? I’ll be tracking wait times today to see how it goes!

Today is the final day for the 2025 Festival of the Arts! It makes me so sad this festival is the shortest of all of the festivals at Epcot. It truly is a celebration of all arts!

If you missed it this year, I can add you to my 2026 waitlist! Or, let’s get you to Disney to experience one of the other fun festivals this year.

Even wizards and witches have a travel agent! Globus Mundi can be found in Diagon Alley. This is one of my favorite places of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to explore.

It’s National Margarita day! There are plenty of places at Walt Disney World to grab a margarita, but my personal favorite place is at Epcot. Tucked inside the Mexico pavilion, you can find La Cava del Tequila. There are a few tables and chairs where you can enjoy your drink or take it to go. Cheers to the weekend!

Resort spotlight! Do you want to vacation on a savanna without traveling to Africa? Check out Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge 🤩 This resort is absolutely stunning. If you book a savanna view room, you can walk out of your balcony and see giraffes, zebras, okapi and so many other animals. Even if you don’t stay in a savanna view room, there are plenty of places around the resort to check out the animals. But trust me. The upgraded view is WORTH it here!

Animal Kingdom Lodge has 2 different buildings - Jambo House and Kidani Village. Both offer great food options, fantastic pools and amazing views. The resort also has arcades, community halls (games, crafts, etc for kids of all ages) and so much more.

On my next trip (which is just a little over 3 weeks away!), I’ll be celebrating my birthday! I can’t think of a better place to be.

I plan on starting at Hollywood Studios to ride some of my favorite attractions and see MuppetVision 3D again before it closes in May. Then I’m going to park hop to Epcot where the park is open later for deluxe guests only.

If you could go to a park for your birthday, which one would you pick? What would your day look like?

🚨🚨 BREAKING NEWS! And this is GREAT news from Walt Disney World. Starting February 25, the virtual queues for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will end and standby lines will be available.

Currently, both of these attractions require either a virtual queue boarding group number or a lightning lane. You couldn’t just walk up and ride it, which made for some frustrated guests if they didn’t know that.

This is an exciting change! If you’re traveling after the virtual queues are on, I’ve updated your itinerary already 😎

Tip Tuesday! When you have a park to park ticket at Universal Orlando, you get access to the Hogwarts Express. This is the ONLY way to ride it because it actually takes guests between Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Pro tip! Hop on the train from Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure side) AND Diagon Alley (Universal Studios side) and have 2 different experiences 😎

I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! While it’s very pretty, it has me missing the warmer weather in Florida. Did you know it also snows at Walt Disney World year round?? That’s right. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Elsa makes it snow during every performance of For the First Time in Forever: Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. This show is a fan favorite and shouldn’t be missed!

The “F” family is officially 60 days from Walt Disney World! I was up before the sun this morning booking their dining reservations for their upcoming trip.

Then, I shut my eyes for about 40 minutes and it was back to work booking lightning lanes for the “V” family! This family has some amazing attractions lined up for their 5 days in the parks

More information has been released about the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! Find magic in bloom at this springtime event with character themed topiaries, fresh flavors and fun for all! Move your feet at Garden Rocks concerts with live renowned musical acts on select dates and delight in gorgeous gardens, unique exhibits and living sculptures of Disney characters. This year, guests will be find Moana and friends topiaries at the front entrance of the park.

The 2025 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival starts March 5 and runs through June 2, which means there is still time to get a trip booked to experience this beautiful festival. Message me to get more info and let’s get planning!

Good morning from Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Good (chilly) morning from Disney’s Riviera Resort! Yesterday was cold and rainy, so I’m excited for a little warmer temps and no rain. We are going to head to Disney Springs for a little bit and then Universal for Rock The Universe 😎

Frozen Ever After

Brrrrr! I love snow (especially snowmen as cute as Olaf), but these cold temps have me wishing for some Florida sun. Are you a fan of Frozen? Then you can’t miss Frozen Ever After at Epcot! You’ll see all your favorite characters from the movie and get some surprises along the way.

The snow and cold temps arrived, and I’m dreaming of being somewhere warm. If you’ve ever considered a Disney cruise, now is the time to go! I don’t know how much longer we will have Dinoland, USA at Animal Kingdom 😩 I’m excited for a new land, but will be sad to lose this fun area full of memories. I had to document what could be our final ride on Triceratop Spin Walt Disney World is always evolving, which gives us fresh and exciting things to look forward to!

Tip Tuesday! Did you know that Casey’s Corner allows one lucky guest to throw out the opening pitch? Each morning when the quick service restaurant opens its doors, they start the day with an opening pitch followed by singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”. My son was lucky to get picked to do this on our last trip. Casey’s normally opens at 10:30, so try to get there around 10:25 if you want to try and get picked. This was definitely a fun and magical memory for us!
