Barlig, Lias, Kadaclan: In Pictures Barlig Mountain Province photos. Barlig is a 5th class municipality in the province of Mountain Province, Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines.

It is bounded in the east by the Municipality of Natonin in the west by the Town of Bontoc and the Municipality of Sadanga. In the north, it is bounded by the Municpality of Tinglayan, Province of Kalinga and in the south by the Municpality of Mayoyao, Province of Ifugao. The town is separated into three settlements or cluster of villages such as Barlig town proper, Lias or "Changyasan" and Kadacl

an.[1]

According to the latest census, it has a population of 6,168 people in 1,425 households. Barlig is politically subdivided into 11 barangays. Lingoy

The people of Barlig are dominantly of Igorot descent. Locals from Barlig Centro call themselves I-fiallig which is a reference to someone born or have roots from villages. In the cluster of villages in Lias or Changyasan, people call themselves I-lias or i-Changyasan while those from Kadaclan villages call themselves E-Kachakran. Despite living in a single town, the people speak different languages and probably traditions.[2]
