Home again, home again. Stuck on the tarmac in Pittsburgh waiting to deplane due to some weather delays. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. So many memories made! Getting back to real life is gonna be roughhhhh and already looking forward to our long weekend in October!

A bunch of people have messaged me about how long it took us to get to our gate when we originally left Pittsburgh due to all the issues the airport has been having. We got to the airport at 3:30 AM, checked bags curbside (do this for SW if you can cause the inside was a disaster!!), and were at our gate after going through TSA precheck in under an hour. We had signed up for a free trial of CLEAR, but most of our flights were so early it wasn’t open yet. We did utilize it both times in Vegas. It worked well there. I think once more people have it though it won’t be any better than precheck. And precheck is cheaper. Just my two cents!

52 miles. 56 bridges. 617 curves. What that sticker doesn’t say…47 of the 56 bridges are single vehicle, a good portion on blind curves. It also doesn’t say that you are going to see some of the most beautiful sights you’ve ever seen, and every mile, skinny bridge, and blind, narrow curve is worth it.
