✦ Travel is NOT slowing down. In fact, travel spending is estimated to be 7% higher than 2019.

✦ Traveler's are more confident in booking future trips. Meaning reach out to your advisor now + start planning your 2023 trips! Availability is already limited in some destinations.

✦ Airfare isn't getting any cheaper. There's no "waiting for the price to go down" because that price will inevitably go up. When you find a reasonable price, book it!

Travel is like the secret ingredient in the recipe for a happy life. Travel is a chance to get away from it all, or the way to get more connected with ourselves + the world around us. For me travel re-sparks that childlike sense of wonder that is hard to keep as we get older or our lives get busier. 💫

As Mary Oliver once said, “Instructions for living a life. Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it”.

That is why I have picked a career in the travel industry. By traveling I am constantly astonished + I want to tell as many people as I can about it, so that they can be astonished too. I am grateful every time I get to create that sense of wonder + astonishment for a client.

Just a friendly reminder to keep those passports up to date! ✈️

For the most part, travel is back! (Can we all just take a minute to soak that in.) With increased demand, a shortage of appointments + delays, it is taking longer than normal to receive new or renewed passports.

So what can you do to avoid travel inconveniences, due to your passport?

Whether this is your first time applying or your are renewing your passport, think ahead!

A passport is valid for ten years for adults or five years if issued before the age of 16. However, certain countries require your passport to remain valid six months after travel so it's important to keep that in mind!

Since we know the process is taking longer than normal, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to receive your passport before your trip.

Check, double check + triple check that all of your information is included + accurate. If there is something missing or wrong, this will delay your process even more.

The State Department website lists everything you need + even has a calculator to help you figure out your passport renewal options.

Lastly, even if you don't have a trip on the calendar it never hurts to keep an updated passport on hand. You never know when those last minute opportunities may pop up!
