Introducing Ma’wa Mamas: a new set of experiences dedicated specifically for Muslim women age 40+.
While the name “Mamas” often makes us think literally of mothers, the Ma’wa Mamas series is intended to mirror the high status of maternal figures in Islam - regardless of whether they have children or not. Ma’wa Mamas trips are open to any woman age 40+ looking to experience the outdoors with their community, and are not exclusive to women with children.
Our Mother-Daughter trips have been amongst our most successful, and we’ve heard the request from our community for more focused experiences for this age group. We hope Ma’wa Mamas will cultivate the same joy, fulfillment, and connection that you all have experienced on our trips. We’re launching our first Ma’wa Mamas trip by heading to America’s Finest City: San Diego.
