AMAZONIA wrapped up two days of shooting at the vast Belo Monte dam complex near Altamira, Brazil. Belo Monte will impound the Xingu River, a tributary of the Amazon River. It will be the fourth largest dam in the world when completed.

The Countdown Begins – Follow Our Journey

We’re excited to announce that the final shoot for AMAZONIA, a documentary film by director Juan Vallejo and executive producer Eric Mendelsohn, officially kicks off this Friday, May 15th. The production team -- which also includes producer Lewis Manalo and cinematographer Robert Alan Rackham -- head back to Brazil for one last survey of the mighty Amazon River and its tributaries. Stay tuned for updates!
