It’s officially the end of the summer, the start of kids going to back to school, cooler weather and shorter days as we round out 2024.
As summer winds down, it’s the perfect time to start dreaming about a warm winter getaway. Now is the perfect time to be planning for your winter vacation. If you are thinking of December ‘festive’ travel, prices go up and availability becomes limited, so please do not wait too long. If you are looking for 2025, then now is the time to get booked so you can get the best deals and places.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT 💍. Todd completely surprised me, took my breath away and the best part… he had all of our kids involved. This man has my heart and the life we are building together is so special. Our kids (blood, bonus kids and significant others) are true gems in our lives and what they did for us last night still makes me cry. We don’t have a date yet and anyone that knows me knows I never needed to be married again. However we will get married as we both want our families to be part of this wonderful ride we are on. ❤️

Transfers - super easy, all on time and easy to find, and comfortable. Definitely made travelling stress free Minos Palace -WOW!!! Beautiful resort, very relaxing, great breakfasts, and very helpful with excursions/car rental, etc Catamaran Tours - both were great - especially the sunset cruise in Santorini Walking Tour in Athens - also amazing. If there is a way to pass along praise about our tour guide to Natalyia that would be appreciated. She was informative, passionate, and personalized our tour. Booking last-minute travel!
It might seem tempting because of the thrill of spontaneity and possible deals. However, there are several reasons why it may not be the best option.
First, availability is a major concern. Popular destinations and places to stay can fill up fast, especially during busy seasons or holidays. Waiting too long can limit choices, forcing travelers to settle for less desirable options.
Second, prices can work against last-minute travelers. While some airlines and hotels might lower prices to fill seats or rooms, this is often not the case. Many times, last-minute bookings can be much more expensive,
especially for flights. Booking early usually brings better prices and offers.

Excited for my next FAM TRIP!

30th wedding anniversary – definitely a milestone and something that some of us will never experience.
My clients are going to spoil themselves and do a true bucket list trip and have such a wonderful experience.
They will be starting off at the wonderfully, luxurious in Dubai. Spend a few days there and then jet off to Male (Maldives). Upon landing, they will take a seaplane over to the stunning resort of .
Check this one out as it is amazing and I was so lucky to be able to get them so many nice added amenities for both locations.
Sometimes I am not sure who is more excited for the trip!

Two years later due to Covid, we are finally doing our family Greece trip in June.
I am so over the top excited for this and will of course share all the deets.
Since we are traveling as a big extended family – 10 of us in total, I decided that the ‘kids’ need to experience the liveliness of Mykonos, although I am sure our wallets will take a hit 😊. However, as I continue to learn, life is short, traveling with loved ones is precious and makes the best memories.
Starting in Athens – need to experience the history of the city, however while we are there this is a huge world shipping exhibition that is taking over the hotels. So one night in the centre of Athens at the , then moving to the iconic Athens Riviera – Vouliagmeni and staying at a boutique hotel .

After that, we zip over to Mykonos and are staying at Villa Blossom .villas close enough to the beach, cafes, restaurants and of course the crazy nightlife of Mykonos town. From there, the kids depart and Todd and I will be experiencing Santorini at the gorgeous .

This trip is a whirlwind…

✔️Arrived Barcelona Sunday morning, transfer to Costa Brava – about 1 hr 45 min. 🚗

✔️Welcome reception last night.🥂

✔️Today – transfer to meeting venue
at 8:30am, meetings all day with networking lunches and dinners and arrive back to my host hotel at 10pm

✔️Tuesday – transfer to meeting venue at 8:30, meetings all day with networking lunch. Closing party hosted at at 8 – 11pm

✔️ Wednesday – transfer back to Barcelona city centre. Lunch meeting and site inspection at Staying at for the night.

✔️Thursday – depart back to Toronto✈️
These trips are so important familiarizing myself with the cities, hotels, restaurants and activities.

This business of mine is definitely an exciting journey. I began 6 years ago and have fell in love with my job. It began as a small part time gig because I had been booking travel for family and friends and wanted to expand this into a business. I have been so fortunate that it has blossomed and evolved into a wonderful full time job of mine. I am not a Travel Agent, I am very much a Travel Advisor – what is the difference? I am advising my clients, based on my expertise, my knowledge and relationships on the best places for them to travel to, to stay, to tour and everything is based on each individual client. We all have different expectations for travel and what time away from work and family means. So I try my very best to make each trip special and seamless for my clients.

I get asked the question a lot of my favourite destination. I don’t think I have one as they are all so diverse and offer different experiences. I lived in Copenhagen for 3 years and traveled throughout Europe and I would go back in a heart beat. I love Europe, the different cultures, the food, the sites, the way everything is a bit slower so you can enjoy life a bit better. I have traveled to Dubai and Abu Dhabi and would highly recommend that for my clients as it is a remarkable experience. I have traveled to most of the Caribbean islands and St Lucia is my favourite thus far. I have quite the bucket list of places to visit; Iceland, Alaska, Africa (have not decided where….so many places), Prague, Turkey, Wyoming (yes, it is a bit different, but looks incredible), all of Italy! My list could go on and on.
