Working from Rob’s idyllic woodland in the Lincolnshire Wolds, he and his small team specialise in cleft, riven and hewn timber conversion, mud and Stud, wattle and daub, green oak timber frame buildings, traditional earth and lime plasters. Rob takes great pride in using as little machinery as possible, focusing solely on traditional hand tools, traditional techniques, sustainability and in sourc

ing all materials very locally. With a wealth of knowledge, experience and a great passion for discussing and promoting traditional building techniques Rob is also a keen teacher, demonstrator and lecturer.
