I had the absolute privilege of being invited by Breast Cancer Now to visit The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), where I met some of the most dedicated and passionate experts - Professors, Clinical staff and Researchers who are working tirelessly to understand, treat and one day cure cancer.

As someone who has personally been through a Breast Cancer diagnosis, I thought I had a good understanding of the disease.... and seeing firsthand what these experts are doing to find new treatments for all types of cancer was absolutely mind-blowing. This experience has truly opened my eyes to the scale of work being done and the importance of continued research.

Walking through the labs in my official-looking white coat, I almost felt like a scientist - until they started explaining their work and I realised I had no clue what was going on 😂 But what I do now know is that their research is groundbreaking, life changing and truly inspiring..

A huge thank you for this incredible opportunity - I am truly in awe ❤️ 💖

10 years ago today I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 🎀 . It certainly wasn't a part of my life plan. But as I reflect 😔 it has changed me as a person. It was a difficult road which led to my beautiful destination 😍

I am so truly grateful for my beautiful life today giving thanks and praise to the Almighty 💖 ❤️ 💗
