The following email was sent to everyone last weekend. Unfortunately, some people didn't receive the email. So, here it is again.
Hello Mudders!
Thank you for your interest in the Lil' Mudders 3K mud run obstacle course. However, I regret to inform you that the August 16th mud run has been cancelled. Unfortunately, due to the water shortage/contamination in Ohio and parts of Lower Michigan we feel it will be hazardous to our participants to go forward with the event. Safety is our main concern and based on other mud runs in the past; contaminated water can affect every participant. This is a big concern because we use large amounts of water from the proximate area. We’ve put in a lot of time and effort to keep the event going and we’ve waited as long as we could in hopes of the water situation improving. However, a decision needs to be made so that you can enjoy your weekend with your families safely.
Refunds will be issued to every participant that registered for the event as soon as possible.
We hope to see you all in the summer of 2015!
