Adventures of Red White & Blue This would allow us to be apart of our local community and help stress the importance of sustainability and healthy living.

The main purpose of our adventure is to reconnect with the spirit of America through the exploration of America's small towns, small sustainable farms, and National/State parks and lands. The ultimate goal is to determine where we want to put down roots and begin our own small sustainable, organic farm on which we run a small CSA (Community Supported Agriculture Program). In an effort to get more

information and experience along the way we are going to be volunteering with the WWOOF program (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms). This will allow us to work hand in hand with farmers across America and gain the valuable knowledge needed to start our own farm. The first step in making our adventure a reality and not a dream was to minimize all aspect of our lives by erasing debt and reducing material possessions. And with that we will be packing up the bare minimum into the back of our pick up truck and hitting the road for approximately 12 months!

Wow I can't believe its been almost 2 years since we posted on here. For those of you who wonder about our adventures, even though we haven't posted about them, they haven't stopped they just look a little different. Over the last year we have had many changes come our way; bought our first house, got married and are expecting our first child. Yes needless to say it has been a very overwhelming but exciting time for us. And for those of you wondering about us getting back on the road for round 2 of travels don't worry its coming.

These are a few photos from our wedding and a couple from out first ultrasound.

So we have wrapped the Alaska portion of our adventure and it was amazing! If you have never been to AK please go. Every corner you turn leads you from one breath taking view to another breath taking view! We are now in Bellingham, WA getting the truck serviced and then heading to North Cascades National Park. We originally planned on traveling through Canada to Glacier National Park but the cost of being in Canada was far to great (gas was $4.30-$5.25 a gallon) so we decided to come back to the west coast and go see North Cascades & Crater Lake National Parks and then head to Glacier from there.

These photos were taken in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, which is the largest national park and by far the most inaccessable park we have ever been to. The road is so notoriously bad, and long, that most visitors fly in.
