Our very own chapter of a focused persons networking event that’s now in Thaba Nchu, this top class event aims to bring together the people so that they can meet like-minded people and take comfort in seeing that Thaba Nchu is indeed a force to reckon with. Career guidance is going to be the main theme of the event.

Career exploration is in most cases limited to only what students have been exposed to. Why not take the time to explore and develop interests, then make post-secondary decisions based on these findings?
Often students pursue careers based on how familiar they are. That means choosing careers their parents have had, those glamorized on television and social media, or others they encounter as they grow up.
Students should be encouraged to explore typical careers and demonstrate that there is a whole world of possibilities beyond the familiar. There are so many different opportunities outside of their own world and span of influence.
We have looked at most of the available opportunities and have realized that it may be difficult to get students to explore careers outside their comfort zone which requires us to encourage them to open their minds to new career ideas.
We will provide students with career exploration tools to help them discover what is important to them and facilitate discussions with students to empower them to think beyond the careers they have been exposed to. This will help them to construct a vision and reach their career goals.

WILD ANIMAL BATTLES
Whilst it is common in humans that there is the air force and ground force when it comes to wars and battles, the same is the case with animals.
Crocodiles and hippos are powerful in water, Lions and warthogs have their own battles that take place on the ground, this does not just end there because eagles have their place in the air.
Snakes are always on the look out.

Some of the snakes with the most toxic venom – in other words, more deadly - rarely bite people. For instance, the deadliest sea snakes are generally quite docile.

All of the species within this family are non-venomous. This means they do not possess any venom that is harmful to humans. They kill their prey through constriction, literally by squeezing the animal to death. Venomous snakes, on the other hand, kill their prey by biting and injecting venom through hollow fangs or teeth.
Interestingly enough, scientists have discovered that pythons (and many snakes for that matter) have the remnants of a venom delivery system. They all go back to a common ancestor species, supposedly. But no, pythons are not poisonous / venomous in any way that could harm humans. They kill their prey by slowly squeezing it to death. They are constrictors.
No matter how non-venomous they have been proven to be, getting close to them is a chilling experience, Here Mrs Molutsi seems to be enjoying the company of these Reptiles. I am a man but eish, hats off to women these days. All this was happening in the Limpopo province as a part of a tour we attended.
