"When I opened The Marketing Shop in Oxford, I wanted to become an integral part of the community. My goal was to help small businesses by providing the best value for their marketing dollars. My experiences working for a nonprofit as a marketing director and being a consultant for the Peace Corps in Nicaragua, taught me what it too

k to stretch a dollar. I also worked for Saturn Corporation on their start-up marketing team, so I also learned what it took to create award-winning advertising and print materials. Over my 20+ years in the field of marketing, I have had the pleasure of working with amazing clients and suppliers that have allowed me to enhance the skills I bring to the table today. I have a thorough knowledge of the printing industry, and know what it takes to create effective marketing materials. I have established a strong network of partners that allow me to direct my clients wherever their businesses need to go. I look forward to helping you in your marketing efforts!"

In our monthly meeting of The Nonprofit Consortium (thenonprofitconsortium.com), Stephanie Malench of Write by Steph (writebysteph.com) presented on the importance of using the right language with all stakeholders of a nonprofit organization.
