PACIFIC MONARCH A page for fans and friends of the M/V Pacific Monarch. __

Welcome to the PACIFIC MONARCH official Facebook® fan page!

Until March 2011, the PACIFIC MONARCH operated in California (and prior to that in Hawaii and Alaska as well) mainly for marine science trips with groups from universities, colleges, high schools and youth organizations. Though charter trips, 1-day cruises, funerals at sea, and special contracting were also among its uses. On June 4th under its new operating company, the ship departed from Rainbow

Harbor (Long Beach, California) and on June 9th arrived to La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico –which has been its base of operations since then. The ship underwent a full remodeling prior to start operating again under Mexican flag. The ship current owning and operating company since then, CAMPSA (Cruceros de Aventura Monarca del Pacífico, SA de CV) can be reached at www.pacificmonarchexpeditions.com
