Another of our stopovers on our Blighty to the Black Sea Tour 🧛‍♂️

Bran Castle, located in Romania, was built in 1377. It was originally a fortress to defend against Ottoman invasions. The castle is famously linked to Dracula’s legend, though there is no historical evidence of Vlad the Impaler living there. Over the centuries, it served as a royal residence and military stronghold. It became a museum in 1920, showcasing medieval artifacts. The castle's gothic architecture adds to its eerie charm. Nestled in the Carpathian Mountains, it attracts many visitors. A true icon of Transylvanian history!

Another event on our Blighty to the Black Sea Tour - Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road is 48 kilometres in length. Over that distance there are 36 twists and turns to tackle up and downhill – right up to the Hochtor at 2504 metres altitude. The highest drivable point is actually even higher: the Edelweiss Spitze at 2571 metres, via an access road. From here you get to enjoy a breathtaking view to over 30 three-thousand metre mountains – and to the Grossglockner too, which, at 3798 metres is Austria’s highest mountain!
All in a days ride on our incredible trip through Europe 😎🏍️👍🏻
