Alpaca kisses selfies! Last night we stayed at and got to give some love to a bunch of cuties. Obviously my wife LOVED it! Leo was interested in them up until they wanted to sniff him, then he was OUT. What an awesome place. Thanks for allowing us to stay over.

Final day in Waco. Got in a motorcycle ride first thing in the morning and stopped off at the town square in while making a couple hour loop around . Then wrapped up the day with a bike ride along the . It used to be a railroad track for Southern Pacific back in the day, now it’s a nicely paved bike path. Great wrap to a great week.

This is the “Fixer Upper Adjacent” section. Swung by the original Little Shop on Bosque (Joanna’s original little store), popped in to Clint Harp’s wood shop and Jimmy Don’s Iron Shop. Yovette was very excited to meet and get a photo with Jimmy Don. He was a super nice guy. We also stopped by the Castle Chip and Joanna bought and fixed up as part of a new set of episodes coming out this month.

Staying at my first Army Corp of Engineers campground at at . Our site is massive with so much grass area around us. The lake is a little farther away than Leo wants to walk. And I think we are the only site without a dozen shade trees, but we have deer come grazing right near us and a million squirrels for Leo to “visit” with, so it works out.

Town of Visby, Island of Gotland, Country of Sweden. That’s a mouthful. Visby is know for its’ 2.1 mile long town wall that encircles the town and has a number of church ruins. The city wall was built in the early 1300’s and is spectacularly preserved. Yovette says we should get a house there because the town is so cute (she says that about once a day on every trip we go on).

Ok. Stay with me a minute. We went to the Idaho Potato Museum. Yes, you read that right and yes, it’s a thing. The museum was cool and I definitely learned a thing or two about potato’s, but the absolute highlight was the cafe. BEST POTATO SOUP EVER! And the French fries were really good too. I was so excited about getting through the museum to the cafe that I didn’t take any photos inside. Sorry (or, you’re welcome).

Made it in to Glacier National Park and rode the Going to the Sun Road. It’s a 50 mile road that cuts right through Glacier and crosses the Continental Divide. It was ranked one of the top ten motorcycle roads in the world. It was good, not sure about top ten though. It might have been because of how much traffic was on the road. Some parts felt like riding in the Alps (now there’s some top ten!). It was a little hazy, so the views were still limited.

Made it to Glacier National Park and our camp spot in Saint Mary, MT. What a great RV park, Johnson’s of Saint Mary, only a block from the entrance to the Going to the Sun Road. Our space is up on a hill with beautiful views of the lake and the mountains of Glacier. Unfortunately there is a kind of constant haze in the air from all the west coast and Montana wild fires 😢.
