This was a huge bucket list trip for them and we had so much fun planning it. Now I get to see these beautiful smiles - which completely made my day! Day 8 of our Adventure and it’s time
To say goodbye to Italy for now. We plan to do some group offerings that I will be personally escorting. Let me know if you have interest in joining us. For now we said goodbye to our Windstar family and are overnighting at the Rome Hilton for one last indulgence in Italian cuisine before our very early morning flight ✈️ Here is to the sweet life , La doche vita! Till we meet again! 🇮🇹🥰😋🎉😘

Day 7 Windstar Star Legend. Our last full day on the ship. We decided last minute to take the Vatican tour and I’m so glad we did. From the ship it was 90 min into Vatican City. Since we were on a private tour we had the express pass into the Museum and Basilica, you definitely want this, it can be an hour in low season and 2+hrs in high season. It’s a process but once you’re in it is amazing! 🤩 Our guide gave us a detailed grand tour for over 3 hours and we didn’t see it all! While we were there Mass was held, very special to witness. After absorbing it all (my brain hurts) we took a late lunch break with new friends and are now heading back to the ship to pack and one last dinner. What a special day that I’ll never forget. Again, I truly hope that you have enjoyed coming with us along this journey and if you have the notion to explore something similar I would be honored to help plan a very special trip for you as well. Day 6 of an amazing adventure with Windstar Cruises. We started early and did a small tour to Florence Italy. I really wanted to see The David. I can’t explain the feelings felt walking into the museum. My eyes welled with tears, the history, the story behind the marble and the sculptor. Let’s just say I was in awe. We then toured a bit of the city and other sites. Spent time shopping and eating and drinking as many traditional foods we could. We soaked up the architecture, the culture and felt reverence for history and the love that went into building this beautiful city. Back at the ship our cabin steward had our laundry delivered all neatly folded! Sunee, can I take you home with me? Mostly because we have fallen in love with this crew. Lobster dinner with friends was so good and then a talent crew show! So special to learn about where the crew is from and to experience their culture. It’s my wish every vacation you experience is as special as a Windstar Cruise! 🥰🇮🇹🎶🚢 #

Day 5 Nice France. What a wonderful time in Nice! After a great night sleep and delicious breakfast we met up with friends to see more of old town Nice. We found the open air market and I grabbed more figs and clementines. Found a great hat and of course chocolates! Had lunch in a little bistro and did the shared plates which were fantastic! One of the best meals I’ve had! Then it was back to the ship where I toured some of the ships balcony suites. Dinner with friends and now we are in our way to entertainment longe for an ABBA concert 🎶. It’s been a great day and we are sailing to Italy 🇮🇹 while we sleep. I’m grateful for calm waters, new friends and the opportunity to have experienced it all! Arreverdeci for now🤗

Day 4 on the Star Legend. We arrived in Nice France and had a wonderful lazy day. After breakfast we decided to hot tub and catch some sunshine. Then I had a craving for fresh oysters and 🤩 amazing! We walked along the water way and commented again how nice it was to be here w/o the crowds. Back at the ship I had my favorite cortada coffee and a tart 😋. Got a little work done and we had a lovely dinner at the Candles Restaurant. Jeff said it was the best filet he’s ever had. Then we met friends for the nightly entertainment and a little dancing. It’s been a wonderful day and we will be exploring the city again tomorrow. I love this itinerary with the linger longer in port approach, it’s so nice to not rush to see everything. Tomorrow is a morning yoga class so I’m off to get my beauty 😴. Sweet dreams to all and thanks for joining us on our adventure 🤗💕

Day 3 of our Windstar adventure through the Mediterranean. Room service breakfast before our day in Marseille. We intended to tour outside the city to a winery but because of a farmer’s protest that wasn’t possible. So we met up with another couple to tour the city. Our highlights were a taste of the farmers market where I had clementines, figs and fresh mint. Then on to a museum of history and art, a stop to pick up French soap made with olive oil and a Chocolatier where I spent $80 euros on chocolate made with olive oil! 😋 Returning to the ship we experienced our first sail away party and the views were breathtaking! Dinner was so good… and yes, I forgot the pictures until desert because we have made wonderful friends and the conversation was just too good to interupt. I am filled with gratitude, awe for the beauty the God shows us daily … and great food😉 Much love to all!
