Here are some photos that I took at the fantastic Cayman Brac Beach Resort. That place is fantastic! I had to remember which buttons to press on the camera. :)

Here are a few photos that I took while scuba diving in Cuba this past June. I'm proud to say that my Flamingo Tongue photo took 2nd place in the fauna category in the IMASUB world photo competition!

Hey friends, I've been busy getting ready for my next adventure! I'm heading off to Cuba tomorrow. I'll be doing research for CubaScuba.Tours. I'm preparing to give a presentation at the Four Lakes Scuba Club meeting in Madison, WI this Wednesday, July 8, 2015. We meet at Babe's on the west side, just off the beltline at 7:30pm. Here are just a few short video clips that I'd like to share while on my dive trip to Bonaire. These were taken with my older Sealife camera so the quality isn't that great but they show some interesting fish down here. Enjoy (it's less than a half minute).

My buddy, Richard Levi and I arrived in Bonaire on Saturday, May 23, 2015. I couldn't wait to get back into the water so I decided to snorkel the first evening. Here are a few photos from my snorkel adventure right off the shore of our resort, Divi Flaming.

A few of these remind me of the Rorschach test (ink blot psych test). I tried something different. These are the pillars that hold up the dive pier. I was just underneath the surface and tried to include the reflection on the under surface of the water.

I also found a few lobster. No, I didn't eat any of them!

These photos were taken with my older SeaLife DC800, point and shoot camera.

I'm so excited! I'm getting ready to head back down to Bonaire to see some of my underwater friends (photos below). Bonaire is probably my favorite place to dive in the Caribbean. I just love it. It's low key and they have great diving.

This is my first time back in the water in a little while. Hopefully I can remember which buttons to press on the camera.

I went to Our World Underwater in Chicago this last weekend with some great friends and attended a bunch of seminars, film festivals and underwater photo training classes. It was so much fun; it was almost like being on vacation. I still love underwater photography and can't wait to get back into the water.

Here's an image that I took with my "old" SeaLife camera back in 2009. I was reminded at a photo class that I took with Michel Gilbert this weekend that you can get good images with an inexpensive camera and I think this is an example of that concept. This photo was selected by SeaLife to be shown in their DEMA display in 2009. I would love to photograph some Christmas Tree worms right now!

I thought I'd try to share a short (30 seconds) video of some anemone fish swimming in and out of their home - the anemone. Look for the 2 larger fish and the 2 smaller ones. On Saturday, Sept 13, some of our Janesville Camera Club members will be exhibiting and selling some of our photos. We are setting up a display and sale at the Newville Culver's (intersection of Hwy 59 and I-39/90). I have some greeting cards with some of my photos on the front of them. While I realize that this is not a great photo of an eel, I thought I would experiment a little bit with the brushes in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. I would have normally just skipped over this photo while reviewing but this time, I looked and thought, "What would make this better? Well, maybe if the teeth were lighter, it would be more attractive." So, I'm posting the Before and After picture. Hope you enjoy and have a little laugh. Oh, and I also lightened the coral on the sides. What do you think?
