The Whitlams are coming to Avalon!

Join us for an intimate dinner and show with The Whitlams 'Black Stump Duo' as part of their Kookaburra 2024 album launch tour.

โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹Tim Freedman and Ollie Thorpeโ€™s acclaimed piano and pedal steel duo is the perfect vehicle to strip back Whitlams repertoire and deliver classics like "No Aphrodisiac" and "Blow Up the Pokiesโ€ with poignant atmospherics.

This intimate performance will also serve new material, as the pair play songs from the debut album of Freedmanโ€™s new Americana group - The Whitlams Black Stump. Check out the 13 track long player, โ€œKookaburraโ€ now.

Rachelโ€™s paintings certainly achieve her aim with their vast landscapes and jewel-like detail, crackling with the vitality and life force of the magnificent Blue Mountains.
