Hello anglers
I hope you are all well and out chasing / catching those dream fish over the weekend ..

I have gotten more than I could ever have dreamed of or wished for from angling in Ireland its helped me through the up’s and downs in life it’s always been there when I needed it ..
its the best medicine hands down for what life throws at you in my book everyone should try it !
I have met some great genuine people over the past 15+ years..
some of my best friends memories and moments have been through angling for sure !
I had a lot of fun and laughs along the way and seen a lot of our beautiful country on my travels ..
Iv been blessed with some great fishing days and had some top anglers around me throughout my fishing life ..
I have been trying to come up with a way of giving something back to angling in Ireland and getting more people involved and out on to our waters ..
(I did consider free amateur lessons for juniors once or twice a month but for many reasons and mainly insurance reasons I decided not to pursue that avenue)

I get lots of messages on this page each season asking for help target species I have done well on locations ‘ baits ‘ equipment etc ..
I have always tried my best to put people onto good fishing as this page was set up for that very reason ..
it’s called All Round “Anglers” Ireland not “angler” ..

After setting up a YouTube channel for this page I realised there is far too many anglers only interested in followers ‘ subscriptions ‘ guiding’ looking good ‘ showboating ‘ money making etc etc broadcasting their selves telling others what to do and not actually giving them the proper help or the time that’s needed to make a difference in a persons journey ..
if someone has large following and influences others they should give them gold not rubbish as is far to common in the angling world ..
(some great guys I met on a small stretch of a wicklow beach whilst out targeting shore tope this year repeated a name that keeps coming up in a bad light as to the reason they where on that beach that night telling me this person had there first shore tope from that mark the night before ..
Total nonsense of course as I’d been there 3 nights on the bounce and this person was 100% not on that beach and nothing had been landed on those nights.. Each to their own I suppose ..)
the worst thing you can do to anybody in any area of life is to waste their time the most valuable precious element on this planet ..
on that note I’ll be offering to take a different angler out fishing for their target species once a month in 2025 starting in January ..

there are top anglers reading this now saying “who does this guy think he is and so on”
I don’t claim to be an expert at anything nor will I ever make that claim !
We are all students on this earth ..
I’m offering to take people out targeting species I can catch if that’s what their target species is ..
If it’s not something I have done or know how to do, I have contacted anglers I know from around Ireland in all areas of angling to pitch in ..
some have agreed some have yet to get back to me and some anglers I don’t even have to ask as they have the same morals and mindset in angling as I do and will be only happy to give up some time and patience to help and have an impact on someone’s life and angling ..
you might have no transport ..
you could have never cast a rod in your life ..
you may be ill or disabled or of old age and think fishing is out of reach for you .. you might be a parent looking to get your child outside and into fishing. Maybe that child is asking to fish and you don’t know how .. you could be fighting mental health or addiction ..
you might simply not be able to afford it ..
you could have just got to Ireland and want to fish..
you could just want to get out to talk and enjoy being outdoors !

The best thing about angling in my eyes is it’s for EVERYONE and ANYBODY can fish !!
