Wine Mountain Equestrian Village World Class Equestrian development in Watkins Glenn, NY. It's all about the horses and wine! Worlds l There is a need for indoor arenas.

Wine Mountain Farm is a world-class equestrian lifestyle community designed by and for professional horsemen. This is an unprecedented development viable because it meets the needs of an underserved demographic with some of the highest discretionary income in the world. What makes the equestrian market unique is their unbridled passion for their horses and their enthusiasm for competition. Wine Mo

untain Farm provides unparalleled facilities and state of the art amenities to meet every need of the owners, trainers, judges, riders, and also those of the prized horses they treasure. The entrance to our 300-acre farm is breathtaking, set back off the road by white rail fences surrounding green rolling pasture and wild flowers. Just inside the entrance is a pristine water feature set with natural stone and “English Country” charm. Wine Mountain is located in the southeast foothills of scenic Seneca Lake overlooking the picturesque village of Watkins’ Glen in upstate New York. This proud region boasts a robust tourist market supported by the historic Watkins’ Glenn International Raceway and over 200 wineries and vineyards surrounding the Finger Lakes. With over 2.72 million horses and 62.5 million people within a 300-mile radius and void of another world-class equestrian facility in this region, our location is a premium destination with the demographics to support a project of this scope and focus. Our indoor facilities provide a rare opportunity for horses to compete year round, unlike any other facility with our capacity and amenities. From the elegant discipline of Dressage to exhilarating polo matches, talented young riders to world-class competitors, we have the venue to support and showcase all 16 equestrian sports. Equestrians are driven to compete and participation in shows and performances is how they set their horses apart, earn stud fees, win prize money, sponsorships, and personal satisfaction. Beautifully nestled into the lakeside edge of a lust white fence lined paddock, Wine Mountain Coliseum seems at first glance to be a beautiful turn of the 20th century Victorian barn. Native field stone clapboard siding, arch topped windows and doors, clock spires, weathervane tipped turrets and ventilation belvederes capping the stepped slate shingle roof evoke a sense of nostalgic quality and character seldom found but fondly remembered today after nearly a century. Viewed from the paddock with vistas of Seneca lake as its background, it is difficult to believe that this is a world class indoor arena large enough to allow four polo matches to be contested simultaneously. The two thirds of the structure concealed into the downward rolling mountain side, make the structure belong in its setting while providing amenities not found anywhere else in the equestrian world. Expansive warm up and lunging areas boarder the competition derbies and the main event floor itself. Sixty thousand square feet of expo sales and marketing area provides lighting and electrical power, hot and cold water, wireless internet service, and an integrated point of sale electronic service for the vendors in a secure, fully climate controlled environment. The champion’s courtyard provides a lavishly decorated venue for the world class horse farms to display their champions and market their stud services in a comfortable combination of elegant horse stalls and visitor lounge areas. Fifty hospitality suites provide gathering and relaxation lounges with private restrooms, lockers and catering services on two levels. A complete variety of food service from a “ grown in New York” food court to fine dining and cocktail lounge settings provide service for all pallets and guest preferences. Nowhere else is this type of integrated hospitality equestrian space available and directly attached to a stable with 1250 horse stalls and 400 walk-in locking tack storage lockers. Parking for 400 vehicles is concealed under the coliseum eliminating the sea of paving present at other equestrian venues. Wine Mountain Coliseum is truly in a class by itself! The principals of Wine Mountain Farm have extensive experience hosting national competition and we have developed an annual calendar to greatly expand on that. We will diligently schedule numerous events; in order to capture additional revenue streams including retail and recreational facilities, to assure the level of traffic needed to produce optimal financial success. Our experienced marketing team has identified many traditional and nontraditional opportunities to maximize event days within our diverse hospitality offerings.
