Day 64 // Go to the Pride Parade

The Pride Parade has become essential to summer culture in NYC. It is impossible to not smile while you are there. So much love and so much to celebrate. LOVE WINS!!!

The Pride Parade is a MUST. So much love and happiness, especialy with the recent Supreme Court Ruling. Love Wins!

Day 63 // Go to the Coney Island Mermaid Parade

Slightly the most pointless parade ever, the Mermaid Parade is meant to celebrate summer and, well, mermaids. Amazing costumes and enthusiastic spectators make the trip down there worthwhile.

The Mermaid Parade is a Coney Island tradition built on celebrating the beginning of summer. You never know what you will spot there.

Day 62 // Eat Your Favorite New York Pizza

We got our first press today on Tracy's New York Life! Though her feelings on my project were mixed, I appreciate her honesty and her ideas are definitely helpful!

Does jumping turnstiles in the subway, jaywalking across Broadway, eating 99 cent pizza in Midtown, sunbathing in Central Park, going to a Yankees game, and doing dozens of other "New Yorky" things make anyone a New Yorker? I'm not sure what defines becoming a New Yorker.
