O USE-IT Guimarães – Mapa Viajantes Curiosos é um serviço gratuito de informação turística que pensa para além do turismo convencional: faz uma abordagem personalizada dos interesses e necessidades dos viajantes, promovendo um tipo de visita genuíno e informal através da descoberta activa da cidade real tal como ela é vivida pelos habitantes locais. É, portanto, escrito por quem melhor a conhece –

os habitantes locais –, tentando ser aquele amigo do amigo em casa de quem estamos a pernoitar e que ao pequeno almoço nos rabisca num guardanapo indicações acerca daquilo que não devemos mesmo perder. Disponível no formato de um desdobrável impresso e de uma plataforma online, o Use-it contém um mapa geográfico de Guimarães sobre o qual são referenciados e descritos locais de interesse – monumentos, restaurantes, lojas, bares, espaços culturais – seleccionados de uma forma totalmente independente, uma secção dedicada aos costumes locais, e uma secção sobre a história da cidade. O Use-it Guimarães surge pela mão da mesma equipa do Use-it Porto e integra uma rede Europeia que conta já com 20 cidades, como Bruxelas, Praga, Oslo ou Copenhaga, representando uma marca de qualidade no que diz repeito ao turismo independente.
