Grigsby Outdoor Adventures will offer a variety of services, excursions, and merchandise to meet your outdoor needs. Due to the impact of COVID and changes within our families, we are no longer renting kayaks at this time. We continue to offer wellness services and will promote outdoor excursions, cleanups, and paddles to enhance your relationship with nature and meet some really cool people while you are at it!

Olive Hill has a small boat launch to Tygarts Creek now, and has received a good rain for Memorial Day Weekend. Get the Kayaks out and ride the creek. Tomorrow predicting a good water flow, Have Fun and Be Safe.

Join us for a Night of Bright Lights at our 3rd annual Glow in the Dark Kayak Paddle to Hidden Cove

The 3rd Annual Glow in the Dark Night Kayaking event will take place on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 beginning at 8pm. Please arrive at Clifty Creek Boat Ramp prior to the 8PM start time in order to find adequate parking and launch kayaks. PARKING IS LIMITED! Kayakers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by an adult before entering the water.

Decorate your kayak with items that glow, like glowsticks, to fit our "Glow in the Dark" theme.

Be sure to bring your kayak, lifejacket, and headlamp! We cant wait to paddle to 'Hidden Cove' with you!

The US Army Corps of Engineers, in partnership with Carter County Tourism&Elliott County Tourism, will be hosting a Pumpkin Painting Event at Shelter 4 on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 🧟‍♀️🧛‍♂️👻🎃🧟‍♂️

Children under the age of 13 are encouraged to attend so that they can paint and decorate their very own pumpkin! All supplies will be provided on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. You are also welcome to bring your own pumpkin.

On Saturday July 17th, 2021 from 11am to 1:00pm Grayson Lake Staff, along with Sandy Hook Fire Rescue, will be hosting a clean-up at Clifty Creek!

Although we have deemed this area as a heavily impacted area, volunteers are not just limited to this location and can clean-up wherever they'd like. Volunteers can inquire about other impacted areas the day of the event.

Supplies will be provided at the time of volunteer registration at 11am at Clifty Creek Boat Ramp. Volunteer T-Shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
