Avodah Editorial Services provides content editing, line editing, copyediting, proofreading, manuscript critique, and independent publishing assistance to publishers and to authors pursuing traditional and independent publishing. Avodah Editorial Services owner Christy Distler has seventeen years' editorial experience and a creative writing background that includes published fiction, nonfiction, a
nd poetry. In 2015, Christy co-authored 5 Editors Tackle the 12 Fatal Flaws of Fiction Writing with four other editors. Her other writings have been featured in the The Mennonite, Rod and Staff Publishers' The Christian Pathway, and several literary magazines and anthologies. Her first novel, A Cord of Three Strands, released in June 2020. Another novel is set to release in 2021. Christy has judged ACFW's First Impressions and Genesis contests; taught at Greater Philly Christian Writers Conference; and is a member of Editorial Freelancers Association, Christian Editor Connection, The Christian PEN: Editors and Proofreaders Network, and ACFW.
