This family of Willie Wagtails have nested just outside my front door, and we have been harassed by them for last month, they also made a challenging photo subject.

Its common name is derived from its habit of wagging its tail horizontally. Willie Wagtail are often aggressive and territorial and often harass. They are almost always on the move and rarely still for more than a few moments even while perching it will flick its tail from side to side, twisting about.

Great to have the Larin family back for another newborn/family session. Baby John was perfect to photograph, sleepy, happy and content for his photo session. Lilly and George were also keen for photos and cuddles with their little brother John.

Up early to photograph the sunrise, giving right of way to the local deer, wombats and kangaroos as we travel up to the top of Mt Buffalo in the dark. Certainly, worth the effort to see the blue mountains, the beautiful morning colours as the sun rises and then, be spoilt by a light sprinkling of snow, amazing!
