Enjoying the gifts of Mother Nature’s rainstorms and the resulting super bloom in our hills and canyons around Lake Elsinore. California Poppies only last a few weeks and we don’t get to see this kind of beauty too often. We took these pictures in Walker Canyon off of Lake Street and off of ElToro road. No poppies were hurt in our adventures.. we walked carefully, keeping an eye out for rattle snakes of course, only on dirt and rocks so the poppies can be enjoyed by others.
