Jeffrey Martin - Food Stylist

As a midwest-based food stylist, Jeffrey works in the Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Lexington and Indianapolis areas.

Jeffrey will also travel nationally to the Chicago area as well as the East and West coast, wherever the work takes him. Jeffrey is both a trained graphic designer and chef/baker. Jeffrey has been working in the design industry for twenty-one years and as a trained chef/baker for the past eight years. As a graphic designer Jeffrey has worked in New York and Cincinnati within the print, editorial,

consumer packaging and internet fields. During these years Jeffrey has led work at CKS Partners and Landor Associates for Kraft Foods, Citibank, Procter and Gamble, and Xavier University concepting, art directing and editing over 100 lifestyle and still-life photoshoots. Along with his career in design, over the past eight years, Jeffery has owned his own wedding bakery creating stunning contemporary wedding cakes. With Jeffrey's design and culinary background, he has been able to build the artistic as well as the culinary experience needed to create delicious looking food, artfully displayed. Jeffrey strives for a calm, low stress environment that is organized and in-tune with the shoot crew.

A forest of jalapeños. Remember to always wash your hands after or better yet wear gloves. Also, never rub your eyes or use the bathroom after without washing your hands before. Ouch.

Well, the American Dental Association may have coined the term for toothpaste, but the word "NURDLE" is used within the food photography world to describe the top of a shake, whip, or in this case, a Wendy's Frosty. 100% real Frosty and a lot of patience and practice to get it perfect. Love working with this client.
