We had a beautiful Chilean family stay at Mom's Place to celebrate their daughters 17th birthday. This morning the girls delivered a couple huge slabs of authentic Chilean BD cake to my door with a big warm thank you for their perfect stay. Caught me off guard and brought tears to my eyes. Once in a while I have an experience that makes me question whether I want to keep doing hospitably, but then folks like these come along and remind me why I do what I do. 💗

Couldn’t let Family Day slip by without thinking of all the special families I've met through Mom’s Place. One of the most memorable was this family of five moving from Virginia to Alaska with their cat, geriatric dog, two rabbits, three geckoes and three guinea pigs.🐾 😂 CAN YOU IMAGINE?!! 🙃 🐾 They had a reservation at a hotel until the manager realized how many animals they had and cancelled their booking last minute. What’s a family to do?! 🐾 They had almost given up finding a place to stay, but then there was Mom’s Place. Twenty minutes in the door and they requested to stay a second night as well, to which I was happy to oblige.☺️ (Pictures shared with permission.)
