A trip out to the Fiera del Tartufo di Canelli today. Came home with cheese and white truffles, strong aromas in the fridge 😂.

A lot going on in the garden today. The cypress trees are having a very expensive haircut, meanwhile i have been pruning away and filling up their lorry with my off cuts. Am now thinking highlights and a manicure not actually so expensive after all, albeit no need for the cherry picker machine...

Back in our heaven 😁. Lots of garden work in the next week or so, 60+ roses to prune, plus other shrubs, bulb planting, hedge trimming. Ibuprofen supplies already in stock 😂.

Major project this year. Sadly the old carts were too far gone to save, but our good friends Alyson and Graham managed to dismantle them and save the wheels. Just one wheel left to clean up and paint, and wondering where to put a bench in the shade of our walnut tree 🤔.

Job satisfaction today 🙂. Pool area swept, furniture cleaned and checked, parasols and tables out. Pool now 28.5° due to our isothermic cover. And the roses are looking very fine! Time for a swim...
