The Wisdom Path intricately reflects the profound teachings of the Heart Sutra, blending two-dimensional calligraphy into a three-dimensional architectural marvel. Thirty-eight timber columns, each inscribed with the Heart Sutra, are meticulously arranged to harmonize with the natural topography, forming a figure-of-eight configuration symbolizing infinity.

The column located at the highest point of the hill is left blank to suggest the concept of "emptiness" (Sunyata), a key theme in the Heart Sutra.

Professor Jao completed this calligraphy of Heart Sutra in 2002, and dedicated it to the people of Hong Kong in June the same year.

One of the most beautiful monasteries we have experienced! The Po Lin Monastery founded in 1906, it is regarded as the centrepiece of Buddhism in the south.

The temple is home to Buddha statues representing the past, present and future, along with numerous Buddhist inscriptions.

From the local Chinese architectural design to an extravagant palatial monument, this monastery is mesmerizing and a treat to your eyes and soul !

One of the most beautiful and unique monasteries we have seen - The main journey up to the monastery itself is an attraction, as the path is lined on both sides with golden Buddhas, each unique and in different poses.

Despite the common translation of its name, the monastery actually contains nearly 13,000 Buddha statues.

Inside the main temple there are over 12,800 exquisite Buddha statues placed on the walls, each with different posture.

The Kowloon walled city park is designed resembling a Jiangnan garden of the early Qing Dynasty !

Park is built on the site of the demolished Kowloon walled city. Lots to explore and walk around and the exhibits describe the history as well!

Ta Prohm is one of the most interesting temples and a state of beauty. The trees begun growing at the temple naturally setting its roots on both sides of the building. Plenty of big trees are found today on the temple and its giant roots are all over the place. It is a great spectacle!

Ta Prohm was used as a location in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and the locals are a big fan of Angelina Julie and with love they address her as Julie !

The sheer size of this temple 🛕 is just wow! Cannot imagine how this was built back in the days . . .

In Khmer, the Cambodian language, Angkor means "city" or "capital city", and Wat means "temple grounds". So Angkor Wat means "Temple City" or "City of Temples". Its original name was Vrah Vishnuloka or Parama Vishnuloka, meaning the sacred dwelling of Vishnu in Sanskrit.
