Dusk in the Bavarian Alps. My daughter saw snow for the first time. She was so excited, she wanted to tell all her friends in California about it!! “You guys, SNOW is made of many tiny ice crystals! It’s so cool, you HAVE to see it!” 😍😍.

I spent the day freezing my butt off at The Forbidden City. I can’t even begin to explain how massive it was, originally built in the Ming Dynasty. I wish I could have taken more pictures but I really felt like my fingers were going to fall off.

No amount of cappuccinos are going to save me now. ☕️ 😑 It’s Beijing or bust, baby! (But right now really feels like bust).

Visa paperwork submitted. We’re going to China 🇨🇳!!! In two weeks we are headed to our next great adventure, and I promise you, this one will be extra exciting! First to Beijing and then Shanghai.

With an extra day on the weekend, why not focus on more travel?! Today I'm going to map out the trips for the rest of the year. Christmas will definitely be in Austria. New Years is going to be in Paris, for sure! November still needs some sorting out. I was originally going to Japan, but those plans fell through... what to do, what to do?!!

Watching Leap! last week with my daughter and our friends, I was so delighted to see the Paris Opera House in all of its animated glory!! The details were perfection and reminded me of all the gorgeous costumes on display in the lobby.
Have you been to the Opera House? If in Paris, it's a must see and all the legends of The Phantom of the Opera come from here!

TRANSPORT // The medieval walk to my Paris apartment. I love the old stone, the moss, the windows, the history. I feel like I'm transported back into history every time I walk this path.

Sometimes I think the world would be a better place if everyone spent some time in with the flowers in a garden. This is a huge part of Parisian culture that I wish we had more of here.
