GUS O'CONNOR'S PUB is one of the most famous pubs in Ireland and is located in the centre of the beautiful town of Doolin, County Clare. Traditional Music sessions take place nearly every night of the week and they are well known for their fresh seafood.

Gus O’Connors Pub is said to be the home of Irish music and visitors can get a real taste of this with their nightly Traditional Music Sessions. In the 20 years that O'Connor's has been hosting Traditional Music nights, a number of famous artists have played there, including Davey Spillane and Sharon Shannon.

As well as its live music, O’Connors is very well known for its delicious and fresh seafood. With the ocean just a couple of hundred meters away, guests can be sure that they are eating local and fresh seafood and local produce. There is also a wide variety of other dishes to choose from, including salads, steaks, sandwiches and desserts.

Gus O'Connor's Pub has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and is the ideal place to experience some true Irish hospitality ☘🇮🇪

'Dún Chaoin'

Another image from my visit to the Di**le Peninsula. This time taken from Dún Chaoin pier, which overlooks the Blasket Islands. In the distance of this image you can see Inis Tuaisceart - sometimes referred to as An Fear Marbh (the dead man) or the sleeping giant due to its appearance.

This was taken shortly before sunset, as the rays of the sun started to break out beneath the cloud.
