The picture above was taken recently while Pam Ivey was climbing Lions Head Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa.
Pam recalls the hike: “What an adventure it was! I was the oldest of my group (and in the worst shape), but with the help of my friends, I made it about two-thirds of the way to the top. (It got crazy the further we treked up - straight-up climbing and super narrow pathways with no safeguards if you slipped... I was happy to turn around.) I was also rewarded with some of the most breathtaking views of my life.”
She adds, “I’ve done a lot of travel this year - travel that’s been w-a-y outside my comfort zone, but travel that I’ve found amazing and down-right adventuous. I discovered how I can work while seeing the world. And I want to share that with others.”
Pam connected with long-admired colleague, Linda Claire Puig and told her of her plans, then invited her along for the ride (pun intended!). Linda because she’s been teaching entrepreneurs how to work and travel with her well-known program, “Portable Profits” for many years. Together, they’ve created Adventurous Life, a membership and travel group geared to teaching and supporting others 40 and older start and/or grow a thriving business while traveling and exploring beautiful and exotic places around the world.
