What weekend adventures do you have planned?

Mine will be a country walk in one of our super cosy gilets! They are ideal for layering, zipped pockets so you don't loose anything and the double zip makes it ideal for extra room and makes them perfect for in the saddle wear too! 🐴

Do you use re-usable bags? Today is which aims to eliminate the use of plastic bags.

I'll put my hands up I am completely useless at remembering to bring my own bags food shopping BUT I do try and opt for the used boxes our local supermarket offers instead!

I think its time I loaded spare reusable totes into my car so I always have spares.

How did we ever leave the house without a fleece gilet? 🦌

I think a gilet has to be my go to item when with the horses or walking the dog. They add the ideal layer over a tee whilst adding the extra pockets and looking great too!

What's your weekday morning routine?

Mine currently consists of feeding and taking the horses rug off followed by a lovely dog walk near the river before starting my work day! 💫

Im used to working shifts on the ambulance as a Paramedic but due to medical reasons currently working from home. I find being sat in the house just on a laptop very slow so getting out with the dog first definitely brightens up the morning!

I've got quite a busy one, my sister is visiting from Yorkshire. Hoping to get a ride on the horse tomorrow morning followed by a works afternoon out for a leaving do and Sunday we are paddle boarding and hopefully shooting some more content! I've also got lots of admin and behind the scenes to do 🙈

With a brand new image for Feather and Fell I thought I'd reintroduce the brand and what we offer, plus it coincides with day three of

Primarily we are a country lifestyle inspired subscription and gift box business. Creating luxury boxes filled with small country businesses, delivered to your door each quarter.

As the business has grown I've also been able to offer a range of individual gifts, bespoke gift boxes, exclusive country slogan apparel and our own branded clothing. We also created the country dog brand !

Our clothing ranges from classic country designs to rose gold equestrian base layers to our much loved bold teamwear logo printed or embroidered on a huge range of clothing and accessories.

As we head into 2022 I plan to launch a variety of set themed gift boxes for you to purchase so whether you're looking to buy for your full time farmer, dog obsessed sister or to treat yourself there will be something for everyone. You can ever create your own bespoke boxes too!

New years resolutions. Do you love them or hate them?

Day two of is to share my own so here it goes...

I used to hate them but now I like to see them as goals, with no set time limit or pressure but I enjoy taking a moment to think about them and what they could be.

▪️Be more purposeful.

▪️Look at the stars more. I'm lucky enough to live where there's no light pollution and find looking at the stars a good peaceful way before bed to realise how small any problems are.

▪️Move more. I've always been active in terms of dog walking and having horses but I've never really tried or enjoyed other forms of moving/exercise. To kick start this goal and to hopefully loose some weight along the way I've joined ultimate class pass for some varied workout hiding in my own home! Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to face the gym and swimming pool!

▪️Be grateful. Recently retiring my horse due to medical issues after alot of rehab work and money has made me feel a little gutted and 'Why me" but actually our two year journey although not what we had planned has given me my best friend, maybe not a ridden partnership no more but I'm greatful for her company none the less.
