We set up this page to document our progress from when we purchased this empty old forge in the beautiful village of Saint-Julien-le-Vendômois. Our journey started when we visited the village and fell in love with the rustic laid back lifestyle and the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. For the last two years we have worked hard on making this a home for not only us but for our family and clo

se friends. We probably have a few more years of working on it between working in the UK but I guess perfection is in the future but in the meantime, we are having a ball enjoying every single moment of our time spent here in the village.

New Bathroom floor project over the last two days...nearly finished. Just some tidying up with the plumbing behind the loo and lay a couple more tiles. Very pleased with the result!
