Our Story

Interjet Airlines is an international airline based in Mexico City providing air service to 55 destinations in eight countries, including 35 cities in Mexico. Its international network includes service to ten U.S. markets: Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Antonio and San Francisco. Other international routes include Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, Canada; Havana, Santa Clara and Varadero, Cuba; Bogota, Colombia; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Lima, Peru; and San Jose, Costa Rica. The airline operates a fleet of 81 aircraft including three Airbus A320neos, 47 Airbus A320s, three Airbus A321neos, six Airbus A321s and 22 Superjet 100s.

Interjet Airlines has transformed the flying experience to and from Mexico for the better. It provides a refreshing, onboard experience at a great value. With an all-leisure class cabin, Interjet offers all-leather seats with business class legroom between rows resulting in more space and comfort for passengers. It also offers free checked bags with certain fares as well as having one of the most generous oversized baggage policies with no extra fees for oversized sports gear. Add to this free drinks and snacks on-board every flight, a “no-overbooking policy,” where you seat is guaranteed and “female only” lavatories.

Interjet also has one of the youngest and most technologically advanced fleets in Mexico, proudly flying airbus A320 aircraft as well as being the first airline in Mexico to fly the new, A321neo, one of the most efficient and quietest aircraft in the air.
